STILL PINCHING myself in case this was a dream!!! When you put out good thoughts and good energy, the universe gives it back to you 10 fold. This weekend I experienced a magical moment of serendipity. We woke up at the break of dawn to catch the sunrise from Hawk Hill over the city. I had the drone up capturing epic footage and I noticed a group of people walking up the grassy knoll….. The views were incredible so I randomly offered to take a drone shot of them. It turns out that they were a choir group from Sacramento that was performing in a church in SF that morning. Check out the song they sang for us in front of the epic backdrop of the city on the 3rd tab. We were smiles ear to ear 😄 until we meet again ... Sunset Balloon Dronie 🎈🚁🌅 . ⁣I've been thinking about surprising Taylor with a sunset hot air balloon ride for over a year now. ⛰Captured this right before a crazy wizard-of-oz-like storm rolled in and almost swept our tiny home away. The wind was howling and the room would rumble. At one point, the door got ripped open from the pressure and I frantically jumped out of bed to close it and save the blinds from getting sucked out. Our little home kept us safe and warm from the heavy storm. And then…. just as quick as it came, it passed and we had beautiful skys again. ⚡️ One of the reasons I love Iceland so much is the raw and undisturbed nature that evolves with every bend in the road. This storm was another exhibit of nature’s beauty and unparalleled force. What a perfect place to experience it! Can you feel those whale vibez?? 🐳It's been my dream to drone a whale for a long time now. I went on a fishing trip with @ggarrettwilsonn recently to San Clemente Island and we were on the lookout! We spotted this guy about a half mile from the boat so I sent the drone up. By the time I got there, he already submerged again. We searched for almost 20 minutes before he resurfaced. I captured a few brief seconds of this guy breathing before he submerged for another deep dive never to be seen again! I don't think I've ever seen a blue whale in real life before. I love the way the grey pops on the calm blue ocean below. Epic flight! Filmed this entire video in the first 2 days here in Iceland. Currently finishing up day 5/11 and this doesn't even scratch the surface of these ever-changing landscapes. I knew there would be a cool spot to surprise Taylor at some point during this trip. This lookout point on this canyon literally had a light beam on it like a beacon when we first walked past. When we came back to the spot, I proposed, she said yes......then the northern lights popped out overhead just like in the video! 🤣 Music by SAN HOLO "Light"
